
The Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach is now open at 2231 N. Ocean Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.
This is the third hotel under the Cambria brand to open in South Florida, joining Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Airport South & Cruise Port and the Cambria Hotel Miami Airport – Blue Lagoon.
The 97-room hotel opened Wednesday.
Cambria Hotels is a modern hotel brand geared toward business travelers. It is franchised by Rockville, Maryland-based Choice Hotels International Inc. (NYSE: CHH).
Hotel Motel Inc., a Fort Lauderdale-based real estate investment and development firm focused on hospitality projects, developed the Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach. The company is led and owned by Jai and Jessica Motwani, relatives of the Motwani family that owns Merrimac Ventures.
The duo first proposed a 97-room Cambria hotel for the Fort Lauderdale property in January 2017.
Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach has amenities including an on-site dining option, a rooftop bar, a fitness center and a pool deck. The hotel also has 2,400 square feet of meeting and event space split across two meeting rooms, each 1,200 square feet.
